VAT Assessment and Appeals
Challenge FTA tax assessments and decisions through reconsideration and, where needed, the tax dispute committees.
When you disagree with the FTA
After an audit or review, the FTA may issue a tax assessment or penalty decision. Taxpayers can request reconsideration, and if they still disagree, escalate to the Tax Disputes Resolution Committee and then the courts.
Strict deadlines apply at every stage. We review the decision, build the case with supporting evidence and manage the procedure.
