Corporate Tax Deregistration

Closing or restructuring a business? Deregister from corporate tax correctly and avoid lingering obligations and penalties.

Overview

When to deregister

A business must apply to deregister from corporate tax when it ceases to exist, for example after liquidation, dissolution or a merger. The application must be made within the deadline after cessation.

Before the FTA approves deregistration, all returns must be filed and all tax and penalties paid. We manage the final return and the application.
